Is IV therapy safe? Who administers the treatment?

Yes — IV therapy at VYV Wellness is safe, professional, and clinically supervised. Every session is administered by a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) and performed under physician-signed standing orders authorized by our Medical Director. We conduct a full health screening before every session to confirm IV therapy is appropriate for you that day. You are never receiving care without qualified medical oversight.
How long does a session take?

Most IV sessions take 45–60 minutes from start to finish. Vitamin shots take just 5–10 minutes. Our nurse arrives fully prepared so you can relax right away.
What areas do you serve in Chicago?

We serve Chicago and its surrounding suburbs. We're also available for events, parties, and corporate wellness days. Contact us if you're unsure about your area.
Can I book for a group or event?

Absolutely! VYV is perfect for bachelorette parties, corporate events, athletic teams, and group wellness days. We offer group rates for 3 or more. Contact us to create a custom package.
How soon will I feel the effects?

Many clients feel improvement during or immediately after their session. Because IV therapy delivers nutrients directly into the bloodstream, effects are felt much faster than oral supplements.
Is a deposit required to book?

Yes — a $50 deposit is required to secure your appointment. This is applied toward your total balance, which is due at the time of service. We accept all major credit cards.
Is there a Medical Director overseeing my care?

Yes — VYV Wellness operates under the supervision of a licensed Medical Director (MD/DO). All IV therapy protocols and standing orders are physician-reviewed and approved. Your nurse administers every session within these physician-established guidelines. You are never receiving care without proper medical oversight.
Is there a travel fee for suburbs outside Chicago?

VYV Wellness is based in the south suburbs (Homewood, IL), so local and surrounding suburban service is always free — no travel fee. A $20 travel fee applies for Chicago city appointments, $25 for locations 25–40 miles away, and $35 for extended areas 40+ miles out. Your zone is selected during booking and all fees are shown upfront — no surprises ever.
Can VYV Wellness treat or diagnose medical conditions?

No — VYV Wellness is a wellness service, not a medical treatment provider. We provide IV hydration and vitamin therapy for general wellness, recovery, energy, and optimization. We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. If you have a medical concern, please consult your physician. For emergencies, call 911.

📋 Informed Consent for IV Therapy
I hereby consent to receive intravenous (IV) therapy administered by VYV Wellness licensed medical professionals. I understand that IV therapy involves the insertion of a catheter into a vein to deliver fluids, vitamins, minerals, and/or medications directly into the bloodstream. I acknowledge the potential risks including bruising, infection, phlebitis, allergic reactions, and in rare cases more serious complications. I confirm that the health information I have provided is accurate and complete. I voluntarily consent to this treatment and understand I may withdraw consent at any time during the procedure.

By proceeding with IV therapy services provided by VYV Wellness, I agree to release and hold harmless VYV Wellness LLC, its owners, employees, nurses, and agents from any claims, damages, or liability arising from the administration of IV therapy services, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. I understand that results may vary and that VYV Wellness makes no guarantees regarding the outcomes of IV therapy. I confirm I am 18 years of age or older.

VYV Wellness is committed to protecting your personal and medical information. Your health information will be kept strictly confidential and will only be used for the purpose of providing IV therapy services and ensuring your safety. We will not share your information with third parties without your explicit consent, except as required by law. Your records are stored securely and in compliance with applicable privacy regulations.

💳 Financial Policy & Cancellation Agreement
A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due at time of service. Cancellations made 24+ hours in advance may have their deposit transferred to a future booking. Cancellations under 12 hours or no-shows will forfeit the deposit. VYV Wellness reserves the right to refuse service at the discretion of the administering nurse.
